Last Call! Constellations Fellowship Deadline is Sept. 22 (Remote, Part-Time)

The application deadline is September 22 for the Fall 2024 cohort of the Constellations Fellowship. This program of the Global Warming Mitigation Project supports the next generation of climate leaders by connecting students and recent graduates to professional opportunities at climate organizations.

The Fall 2024 cohort of the Constellations Fellowship are 100% remote, entry-level part-time opportunities that run 12-14 weeks, starting on October 7, 2024. Fellows will be awarded a $1,000 stipend upon the completion of their fellowship.

The Fall 2024 cohort features more than 45 fellowship positions. Interested candidates can apply to more than one opportunity.

Application Deadline is September 29 for the Hubbard Conservation Fellowship (Nebraska)

Applications are currently being accepted for the Claire M. Hubbard Young Leaders in Conservation Fellowship Program. This is a one-year program intended for recent graduates of undergraduate or graduate programs in conservation-related fields. The Fellow is a full-time employee of The Nature Conservancy.

Most of the Fellow’s time will be spent at The Nature Conservancy’s Platte River Prairies, in a rural part of central Nebraska at Wood River, Nebraska, and runs from February 3, 2025 through January 30, 2026. The Fellow will also have an opportunity to spend time in other locations, including TNC’s Omaha Field Office.

The Fellow will have an opportunity to participate in a wide range of work areas including land management & restoration, outreach & education, and science & research.

Compensation and benefits include:

• Housing on TNC’s Platte River Prairies preserve and work vehicle

• Health insurance and 401(k)

• 2 weeks vacation and paid federal holidays

• $27,300 based on an hourly rate of $15/hr

Applications Being Accepted for the 2025 Echoing Green Fellowship (Global)

On September 17 the application period opened for the 2025 Echoing Green Fellowship, which provides support to entrepreneurs worldwide who are working to address social or environmental challenges. The fellowship provides seed funding of $80,000, capacity building services, and connection to a global community of innovators.

North American Food Systems Network (NAFSN) will be hosting a webinar series in September and October on Finding Your Future in Food Systems. There will be four webinars in this series, which are free and open to the public.

The Capitol Region Green Buildings Career Map provides is an interactive tool that provides information on career pathways in the green buildings sector in the Washington, DC Metro Area. It also connects jobseekers to local educational and training opportunities, support services, and financial aid programs. It is built to serve local educators, career advisors, job seekers, employers, and workforce professionals.
