It is led by a coalition of three organizations: Calvert Impact, Community Preservation Corporation, and Self-Help.

Climate United was recently awarded a $6.97 billion investment from the National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF), a program under EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, one of the largest direct spending programs within the Inflation Reduction Act.

American Solar Energy Society

The application deadline is September 16 for the Gene Clark Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is administered by the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) and will award $1,000 to a graduate student with a strong interest in solar or related renewable energy fields such as business, research, engineering, architecture, journalism, law, finance, real estate, and/or policy.

This scholarship honors and recognizes the legacy of Dr. Eugene ‘Gene’ Clark (1943-2023), a trailblazer in the field of solar energy and a lifetime advocate for sustainable building practices.

Green Jobs Network CEO Presents to EDICT Internship Program

Empowering Diverse Climate Talent (EDICT) internship program.

Last week, Green Jobs Network CEO Leonard Adler had the opportunity to deliver a presentation to participants in the summer 2024 cohort of the Empowering Diverse Climate Talent (EDICT) internship program. This session provided attendees with job search strategies and resources as well as advice on career pathways.

EDICT creates a diverse pipeline of talent for the climate sector, working with both employers to create inclusive cultures where new talent can succeed, and with youth to develop new skills and unlock powerful networks for rising leaders from traditionally excluded groups. It is a partnership between Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI), Elemental Excelerator, and FutureMap.
