25 Jobs in Environmental and Social Impact Available via the FUSE Executive Fellowship

FUSE Corps

Applications are still being accepted for the Fall 2025 cohort of the FUSE Executive Fellowship. This is a program of FUSE Corps, a national nonprofit that partners with local governments and communities to more effectively address pressing challenges by placing experienced professionals in local government agencies.

FUSE Executive Fellows are experienced professionals with at least fifteen years of work experience. Fellows are full-time employees of FUSE Corps and receive an annualized base salary of $80,000 plus benefits. Fellowships begin as one year assignments and may be renewed for a second year. Last Call! Application Deadline is August 4 for the E2 1 Hotels Fellowship

E2 1 Hotels Fellowshi

The application deadline is August 4 for the 1 Hotels Fellowship at E2. The fellowship is a collaboration between Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) and 1 Hotels and provides support to early and mid-career professionals who identify important environmental challenges in the U.S. and lead projects that elevate the business and economic case for smart policy solutions.

Key details about this program include:

  • Six fellowships will be awarded.

  • The fellowship period is January 2026 – December 2026. 

  • Each fellow receives a $10,000 award to support their project.

  • Fellows will receive support from E2 and NRDC staff to complete their selected projects.

  • Fellows will become part of E2 and its Emerging Leaders Program, which provides mentorship, press opportunities, and other professional development support.

Last call! The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) will be hosting a Solar Career Fair on August 5 from 2 - 5 pm at the Glenn Miller Ballroom at the University of Colorado Boulder. This event is part of the ASES National Solar Conference.

August 18 - Power Up Detroit: Shaping Tomorrow’s Energy Workforce Today

A free event, Power Up Detroit: Shaping Tomorrow’s Energy Workforce Today will be taking place in Detroit on August 18 and is intended to bring together leaders across the energy and utility sectors to explore the intersection of technology, innovation, and workforce development. This event will include a networking breakfast and panel program.

Application Period Open for $100K Mulago Henry Arnhold Fellowship

Mulago Henry Arnhold Fellowship

Applications and nominations are being accepted for the Henry Arnhold Fellowship. This is a one-year program from Mulago for entrepreneurial leaders with climate, conservation, and environment solutions that can achieve significant impact.

Fellowship benefits include coaching and a $100,000 unrestricted grant. A total of 8 - 10 fellows will be selected for this cohort. The criteria for fellows include:

  • A solution that can drive exponential impact over time to a big conservation or climate problem.

  • An organization up and running (even if very small or very early) and are working full time on it.

  • The most senior role (usually an Executive Director or CEO) at their organization.

This program is open to people worldwide. You can nominate someone via this link (deadline August 7) or apply directly via this link (deadline is August 28).

Registration Deadline is August 15 for $25 Million Emerging Climate Champions Award

Applications are being accepted for the Emerging Climate Champions Award, a new $25 million global open call sponsored by the Enlight Foundation and The Patchwork Collective. This award will provide flexible multiyear gifts of $1 million each to youth-led organizations advancing climate solutions.

Organizations worldwide are encouraged to apply and the Award welcomes eligible organizations working across a full spectrum of climate issues and solutions, including education, movement building, climate justice, science / technology, economic opportunity, community resilience, conservation, advocacy, sustainable agriculture, and disaster preparedness. 

Organizations must register to apply before 5 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on August 15, 2025. Once registered, applicants must submit an online application before 5 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on September 22, 2025.
