Green Jobs Network and HeatSpring Launch Collaboration to Expand Access to Career Education & Training with $300 Credit

Green Jobs Network is excited to announce a collaboration with HeatSpring to expand access to career education and training opportunities.

Founded in 2007, HeatSpring is an online education and training platform for careers in clean energy and sustainability. HeatSpring offers more than 300 courses (including more than 150 free courses) and they are a leading provider of clean energy certifications like NABCEP, OSHA, FAA and others.

The first initiative in this collaboration will focus on supporting job seekers who are interested in careers in the solar industry. Here are the details:

As you continue your career journey, HeatSpring provides training to help you earn in-demand credentials like NABCEP certification. All of HeatSpring’s courses can be taken on-demand at your own schedule.

The Environmental Career Coach and Green Jobs Network To Host a Free Q&A Career Session on April 25

Green Jobs Network is pleased to announce that it is teaming up with The Environmental Career Coach (Laura Thorne) to offer a free Q&A session for job seekers. This session will feature Laura as well as Leonard Adler, CEO of Green Jobs Network.

This program will provide job seekers with an opportunity to ask questions about their environmental & green job search and get actionable advice to move forward.

Laura is an experienced career coach who provides a range of services including 1:1 coaching and on-demand career resources. Green Jobs Network announced a collaboration with The Environmental Career Coach earlier this year.

This Q&A session will take place online on Friday, April 25 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm Eastern time (1:00 – 2:00 pm Pacific).

Free Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp on April 22 & 23

Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp

For lawyers and law students who are interested in using their legal skills to support climate-friendly causes, communities, and startups, a Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp will be offered on April 22 and 23, 2025. GJN CEO Leonard Adler spoke at the inaugural conference in 2024 which was attended by hundreds of attorneys.

This online event will bring together lawyers to learn how they can engage in pro bono legal work and how to find pro bono opportunities. It will also provide guidance in the substantive skills you need to do pro bono work for renewable energy projects, climate startups, and more. CLE credit will be available.

Last Call! The application deadline for the next cohort of the 776 Fellowship is April 14. This program gives 20 people between ages 18 and 24 a total of $100,000 to spend two years working on an idea they have to address climate change.
