Application Deadline Approaching for the Spring 2025 Cohort of the FUSE Executive Fellowship (29 Jobs)

FUSE Executive Fellowship - Accepting Applications for Spring 2025 Cohort - 29 Opportunities in 16 Regions

The application period is closing soon for the Spring 2025 cohort of the FUSE Executive Fellows. This is a program of FUSE, a national nonprofit that partners with local governments and communities to more effectively address pressing challenges by placing experienced professionals in local government agencies.

FUSE Executive Fellows receive an annualized base salary of $80,000 plus benefits. Fellowships begin as one year assignments and may be renewed for a second year. For FAQs on the Fellowship program click here.

Application Period Opens March 12 for 776 Foundation’s $100,000 Fellowship

776 Fellowship

The application period for the next cohort of the 776 Fellowship will open on March 12. This program gives 20 people between ages 18 and 24 a total of $100,000 to spend two years working on an idea they have to address climate change.

Applicants can be based anywhere in the world. The application deadline will be April 14, 2025. To learn more and apply click here.

Application Deadline is March 31 for the RAY Fellowship Program

RAY Fellowship Program

The application deadline is March 31 for the 2025-2027 cohort of the Dr. Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Fellowship Program. This program, which is managed by Environmental Leadership Program (ELP), is a two-year paid fellowship that provides recent college graduates from historically marginalized groups with career opportunities, tools, and support to become leaders in the conservation and clean energy sectors.

All Fellows work with mentors, grow their networks, and forge lasting relationships within and between the Conservation and Clean Energy cohorts of Fellows. RAY Fellowship positions are full-time paid positions with competitive entry-level salaries plus benefits. All Fellows will also receive a stipend of $1,000 for professional development opportunities, in addition to coordinated professional development through RAY Partner Organizations and ELP.

NAFSN to Host Free Webinar Series “Finding Your Future In Food Systems” (March and April)

North American Food Systems Network (NAFSN) will be hosting a webinar series in March and April on Finding Your Future in Food Systems. There will be four webinars in this series, which are free and open to the public.

The goal of this series is to provide participants with connections and insights to help them identify next steps for their careers in food systems.

The series includes speakers from a wide variety of sectors within the food systems profession: policy & advocacy, market development, food access initiatives, value chain development, education, and farming, both urban and rural.

The speakers will be from job-creating organizations, agencies, and businesses, some working locally in their communities, others with national and international scope.

Free Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp on April 22 and 23

Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp

For lawyers and law students who are interested in using their legal skills to support climate-friendly causes, communities, and startups, a Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp will be offered on April 22 and 23, 2025. GJN CEO Leonard Adler spoke at the inaugural conference in 2024 which was attended by hundreds of attorneys.

This online event will bring together lawyers to learn how they can engage in pro bono legal work and how to find pro bono opportunities. It will also provide guidance in the substantive skills you need to do pro bono work for renewable energy projects, climate startups, and more. CLE credit will be available.

Green Jobs Network is a sponsor of this event, which is presented by the Planetary Lawyer Project, Offit Kurman, P.A., and Green Pro Bono.

Registration Open for RE+ Texas Clean Energy Job Fair

RE+ Texas Clean Energy Job Fair - May 13

Registration is now open for employers and job seekers for the RE+ Texas Clean Energy Job Fair. This event is hosted by GRID Alternatives and is free for job seekers to participate.

Applications Being Accepted for the 2025 J.M.K. Innovation Prize ($175K)

The application period is now open for the J.M.K. Innovation Prize. This is an initiative of the J.M. Kaplan Fund and seeks to identify and support bold problem-solvers leading transformative, early-stage projects in the fields of heritage conservation, the environment, and social justice.

There will be 10 prizes awarded, each including a cash award of $150,000 over three years and $25,000 in technical assistance funds. Awardees will also receive guidance through the Fund’s resource network, accessing hands-on training and support to help turn their ideas into sustainable growth and impact. The J.M.K. Innovation Prize has supported 50 initiatives since 2015.

The application process is open to individuals or teams representing nonprofit or mission-driven for-profit organizations in the U.S.
