$3,000 Scholarship for Northwestern’s MSES Program; Free Online Events on Feb. 2 and Feb. 5

Members of the 2025-2026 cohort of Northwestern’s MSES Program

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2026-2027 cohort of Northwestern University’s Master of Science in Energy and Sustainability (MSES) program.

Northwestern’s MSES program is a 10-month, cohort-based program that combines academic rigor with real-world experience. This program prepares students for leadership roles at the complex intersection of technology, business, and public policy in energy and sustainability.

“Finding Your Future In Food Systems” Webinar Series from NAFSN Begins February 4

The North American Food Systems Network (NAFSN) will be hosting the Spring 2026 edition of its webinar series Finding Your Future in Food Systems. There will be four webinars available, which are free and open to the public.

This program will provide participants with connections and insights to help them identify next steps for their careers in food systems.

The series includes speakers from a wide variety of sectors within the food systems profession: policy & advocacy, market development, food access initiatives, value chain development, education, and farming, both urban and rural.

The speakers will be from job-creating organizations, agencies, and businesses, some working locally in their communities, others with national and international scope. This series is produced by college students for college students and other emerging professionals.

February 17: Greater Cincinnati Conservation Career Fair

Greater Cincinnati Environmental Educators will be hosting a Conservation Career Fair on February 17 from 3:00 - 6:30 pm. This free event will provide an opportunity to connect with employers in the environmental, forestry, and other fields.

March 5: Greentown Boston Hosts Climatetech Intern Fair

Greentown Labs, the largest startup incubator in North America, is hosting a climatetech intern fair at their Somerville, Massachusetts location on March 5, 2026. This free event will enable job seekers to connect with Greentown startups and learn about opportunities in Business Administration, Data, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Software, and more!

March 6: SF Bay Area Careers in Conservation Job Fair

Registration is open for the inaugural Bay Area Careers in Conservation Job Fair hosted by the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District. This event will take place from 2 – 6pm on Friday, March 6th at the Los Altos Community Center (97 Hillview Avenue, Los Altos, CA 94022).

The event will feature employer booths, breakout sessions, and direct access to career opportunities across conservation and related fields. All are welcome to attend, including students, job seekers, or anyone passionate or curious about environmental careers.

Free eCornell Certificate: “Climate Jobs: Building an Equitable, Resilient Clean Energy Economy”

250 New York State residents can receive free tuition, courtesy of the Climate Jobs Institute (CJI), for the online eCornell certificate: Climate Jobs: Building an Equitable, Resilient Clean Energy Economy.

This eight-week, online course provides an overview of the climate jobs approach to climate action. This framework emphasizes the creation of high-quality union jobs in the clean energy economy.

The next 2026 cohorts are March 4 and June 3. Registration is open for these dates and enrollment is first come, first serve.

Sightline Climate Releases 2025 Climate Tech Investment Trends Report; Total Funding Reaches $40B

Sightline Climate has released their annual report on the state of climate tech investing for 2025. In total, climate tech venture and growth investment was $40.5B, an 8% increase from 2024.
