This is a program of FUSE Corps, a national nonprofit that partners with local governments and communities to more effectively address pressing challenges by placing experienced professionals in local government agencies.
FUSE Executive Fellows receive an annualized base salary of $80,000 plus benefits. Fellowships begin as one year assignments and may be renewed for a second year. For FAQs on the Fellowship program click here.

Six Remote Paid Opportunities for Students with the New Futures Fellowship (Summer 2024)
Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 New Futures Fellowships by Planet Reimagined. This is a paid, three-month remote fellowship program that focuses on innovative and interdisciplinary solutions to the climate crisis. This fellowship brings together activists and scholars from around the globe to conduct research, make policy recommendations, and produce creative digital content.
The 2024 fellowship will focus on two themes: Climate + River Delta Communities and Clean Energy + Environmental Justice. From May 28 to September 6, fellows will collaborate in teams, taking on roles as researchers, campaigners, communicators, and policy analysts.
The fellowship is a full-time educational experience with a stipend of $2,500 and six total fellowships are available. This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students worldwide who are currently enrolled in a degree program or entering a graduate degree program by January 2025.
Fellows may come from any field of study including natural and physical sciences, social science, arts, humanities communications, journalism, public relations, etc.

Greentown Labs to Host Internship Fair on February 15
Greentown Labs, the largest startup incubator in North America, is hosting a climatetech intern fair at their Somerville location on February 15. This free event will enable job seekers to connect with Greentown startups and learn about opportunities in Business Administration, Data, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Software, and more!

Internship Spotlight: The Climate Reality Project
Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2024 cohort of paid internships at The Climate Reality Project, which is a nonprofit organization founded by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. The Climate Reality Projectβs mission is to catalyze a global solution to the climate crisis by making urgent action a necessity across every sector of society.
The Climate Reality Project offers paid internships in three cycles (spring, summer, fall) that align to typical college semesters. The goal of the internship program is to provide a high-quality learning experience that helps to form the foundation for a career in the climate change or environmental movement for a diverse group of individuals seeking hands-on work experience in the field.
The internship dates for the Spring 2024 cohort are January 22 - May 3, 2024. Compensation is $17/hour with a 15-20 hour minimum commitment per week.
The available internships are listed below. Unless otherwise noted, the internships are hybrid positions in the Washington, DC office where DC-based staff will come to office two days a week.

Last Call! Application Deadline for Oxford School of Climate Change is January 13
The application deadline is January 13 for the next cohort of the Oxford School of Climate Change (SoCC). This is an eight-week course taught by leading Oxford academics and organized by the Oxford Climate Society. It is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive βClimate 101β education in the basics of climate change β from the physics of the greenhouse effect to climate justice.
The program consists of weekly 2-hour sessions on Thursdays from 18:00-20:00 UK time, from January 18 β March 7. This program is offered in person in Oxford (110 spaces) and online (300 spaces).
This program is free, with optional donations (Β£15 for in-person / Β£5 for online).

Applications are now being accepted for the next cycle of Dream.Org's Climate Career Pathways Scholarship Fund. Selected applicants can receive up to $3,500 for technical training, coursework, and professional certifications in climate change and sustainability. Free Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp for Lawyers on January 17-18, 2024
For lawyers who are interested in using their legal skills to support climate-friendly causes, communities, and startups, a Climate Pro Bono Bootcamp will be offered on January 17-18, 2024.
This free virtual conference will discuss how to find pro bono opportunities and maximize your impact, and will also provide specific instruction in the substantive skills you need to do pro bono work for renewable energy projects, climate startups, and more.
CLE is expected to be available for this event in CA, DE, IL, GA, NJ, NY, and PA and may be made available in other jurisdictions upon request.

Biden-Harris Administration Announces Virtual Listening Sessions for American Climate Corps
The White House announced the launch of the American Climate Corps in September 2023. This new initiative will provide opportunities and training for more than 20,000 people in conservation, clean energy, and climate resilience.
As part of the rollout of the American Climate Corps a series of virtual listening sessions are taking place where you can share your ideas on how to make this program a success. These sessions will include members of the American Climate Corps team and special guests!

Applications Period Opens for $50,000 Keeling Curve Prize
The Global Warming Mitigation Project announced this week that the application period is now open for the 2024 Keeling Curve Prize. This program will award $50,000 each to 10 global climate initiatives that demonstrate the ability to reduce, replace, or remove greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
Prize categories include energy, finance, carbon sinks, transport and mobility, and social and cultural pathways. Applications are accepted from climate organizations anywhere in the world, regardless of size or status.

Green Jobs Network released a number of new services in 2023 to mark our 15th anniversary year. All of these services were in furtherance of GJN's mission to connect people to jobs, career resources, and community. These launches included:

ποΈ RemoteClimateJobs.com - A website that exclusively spotlights remote climate & green job opportunities.
π ClimateJobTraining.com - Highlighting online and in-person education and training programs, as well as discounts and scholarships.
πΌ ClimateFellowships.com - A website exclusively focused on environmental, sustainability, and climate fellowships.
π ClimateInternships.org - A website exclusively focused on environmental, sustainability, and climate internships.
βοΈ ClimateLawyers.org - A resource for environmental, sustainability, and climate change law jobs and legal resources. Note: This site is now located at climatelawjobs.com.
π ClimateJobsMap.com - An online tool to identify local green and climate investments and jobs. Currently featuring 450 new or expanded clean energy manufacturing facilities totaling $160B+ in announced private and public sector investments.
