NWF’s EcoCareers Summit is September 16 and 18

NWF’s EcoCareers Summit

Registration is open for the National Wildlife Federation’s virtual EcoCareers Summit, which will be on September 16 and 18, 2025.

The EcoCareers Summit is a free event for students and professionals who are interested in wildlife, conservation, and climate careers. During this event attendees will learn about the latest career trends and gain insight into what employers are looking for in today’s job market. The program will include workshops, panel sessions, and more!

Application Period Opens September 17 for the 2026 Echoing Green Fellowship

Echoing Green Fellowship

The application period will open on September 17 for the 2026 Echoing Green Fellowship, which provides support to entrepreneurs worldwide who are working to address social or environmental challenges. The fellowship provides seed funding of $100,000, capacity building services, and connection to a global community of innovators.

Deadline Approaching for 25 Jobs in Environmental and Social Impact via the FUSE Executive Fellowship

FUSE Corps

Don’t miss the application cycle for the Fall 2025 cohort of the FUSE Executive Fellowship! This is a program of FUSE Corps, a national nonprofit that partners with local governments and communities to more effectively address pressing challenges by placing experienced professionals in local government agencies.

FUSE Executive Fellows are experienced professionals with at least fifteen years of work experience. Fellows are full-time employees of FUSE Corps and receive an annualized base salary of $80,000 plus benefits. Fellowships begin as one year assignments and may be renewed for a second year. Application Deadline is September 28 for the Hubbard Conservation Fellowship (Nebraska)

Applications are currently being accepted for the Claire M. Hubbard Young Leaders in Conservation Fellowship Program. This is a one-year program intended for recent graduates of undergraduate or graduate programs in conservation-related fields.

Most of the Fellow’s time will be spent at The Nature Conservancy’s Platte River Prairies in Nebraska, and runs from February 2, 2026 - January 29, 2027.

The Fellow will have an opportunity to participate in a wide range of work areas including land management & restoration, outreach & education, and science & research.

Compensation and benefits include:

  • Housing on TNC’s Platte River Prairies preserve and work vehicle.

  • $30,940, plus health insurance and 401(k).

  • 2 weeks vacation and paid federal holidays.

Cecil Corbin-Mark Fellowship for Environmental Justice Leadership

WE ACT for Environmental Justice is currently accepting applications for the Cecil Corbin-Mark Fellowship. This fellowship honors the legacy of Cecil Corbin-Mark, a highly respected leader in the environmental justice movement who passed away in 2020, and who served as WE ACT’s Deputy Director.

During this 1-year fellowship participants will work on WE ACT campaigns alongside experienced environmental justice leaders. Fellows will gain experience in environmental justice areas including environmental health, environmental justice policy, and community organizing. Fellows will also receive leadership development training as well as networking and learning opportunities.

This fellowship is based in New York City and includes an annual salary of $70,000, plus benefits.

Green Jobs Network CEO to Keynote Kickoff Event at Harvard Climate and Sustainability Career Expo (November 6 - 7)

Harvard Climate and Sustainability Career Expo

Green Jobs Network CEO Leonard Adler will be serving as the keynote speaker for the Careers in Climate Action Speaker Series, which is the kickoff event for the Harvard Climate and Sustainability Career Expo. These two events will take place on November 6 and 7.

The Expo is a collaborative effort across Harvard University schools, The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University, and MIT to connect organizations focused on climate, sustainability, and the environment with Harvard and MIT undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni.

Participating organizations at the expo will showcase jobs, internships, research experiences, and/or potential projects.

North American Food Systems Network Hosts Free Career Webinar Series

The Fall 2025 edition of Finding Your Future in Food Systems, a free webinar series hosted by the North American Food Systems Network, is underway!

The series includes speakers from a wide variety of sectors within the food systems profession: policy & advocacy, market development, food access initiatives, value chain development, education, and farming, both urban and rural.

The speakers are from job-creating organizations, agencies, and businesses, some working locally in their communities, others with national or international scope. This program is produced by college students for college students and others.

Fall 2025 NAFSN Finding Your Future in Food Systems

Application Deadline is September 19 for $50,000 Stanley 1913 Creators Fund

Stanley 1913 Creators Fund

Applications are currently being accepted for the Stanley 1913 Creators Fund. This program supports the voices, ideas, and advancement of social entrepreneurs (including those working on climate change) and is designed to celebrate these leaders and the nonprofit organizations with which they are affiliated.

This Fund provides unrestricted grants of up to $50,000. Since its launch in 2023 this program has provided support to 13 individuals in four countries.

To be eligible, applicants must operate or be affiliated with a qualified U.S. 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (or global equivalent, if outside the U.S.) which is able to receive corporate financial support. Fiscal sponsors or partner organizations that are 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations may also apply. Additional eligibility information is available here.
